Less than a couple of weeks ago, our company won the Hyvän ilman lintu innovation competition with BIOBOKSI, and now the race will continue to the international arenas. BioGTS Ltd. has been nominated as one of Finland’s candidates for the Global Cleantech Later Stage Award 2015 competition in the category “bioenergy/biomaterial”. The competition is organized by the international umbrella foundation, Global Cleantech Cluster Association, GCCA.

The Finnish nominees has been chosen by Lahti Region Development, LADEC Ltd., together with other influential cleantech organizations. Also, Cleantech Finland, Ministry of Employment and the Economy and Finnish Water Forum have been part of the selection process. Lahti Region Development is a founding member of GCAA.

In the three-phase competition, each nominated company is evaluated against the KeyStone Compact assessment, which measures, from the industry and investors’ perspective, the capabilities of the companies to carry out their growth strategies. The Top30 Finalists, 3 companies in each of the 10 categories, will be selected from more than a hundred of nominees based on the KeyStone Compact assessment and the additional evaluation according to the GCCA Award criteria. The Top10 Best-in-Class Winners 2015 will be announced at the GCCA Award Event in Seoul, South Korea.
