BioGTS has been given the Central Finland marketing deed award of the year 2016. BioGTS won the public vote out of the five candidates chosen for the voting. The voting took place through the website of newspaper Keskisuomalainen. The acknowledgement was presented by the executive team of MARK Keski-Suomi and newspaper Keskisuomalainen on Thursday the 24th of September, in the Marketing Today seminar at the FinnGraft exhibition in Paviljonki, Jyväskylä. As the requirement for the award, the candidate must have accomplished an extraordinary action or achievement, which also enhances motivation to develop better solutions.

According to BioGTS’s Director for Business Development, Annimari Lehtomäki, excellent networks, reliable partners and activeness, for example in different competitions, bring distinctiveness compared to the competitors. Competition success, ia in Kasvu Open, has given impetus also to marketing.

BioGTS’s Marketing Manager, Jari Toiminen, sees the award as a deserved recognition for the company’s long-term marketing development efforts. The investments in communication and efficient use of digital channels are essential also in the field of cleantech.

According to Toiminen, carefully planned productization has been, for example in the case of marketing the Bioboksi – biogas plant concept, of paramount importance. Outstanding product with customer benefits that can be easily communicated is ideal from the marketing perspective. “BioGTS has succeeded in creating a complete product line, which serves cost-effectively large customer segments, from farms to large cities”, says Toiminen.

BioGTS joined the Marketing deed award competition with the following words: “BioGTS is a Finnish biogas and biodiesel plant manufacturer that has found its place as the connecting link between the waste treatment and local fuel production. From the marketing point of view, we have the perfect high tech product portfolio, which is scalable from the farm-scale to the waste treatment of the metropolises of the world. It is a long way from a garage to the international markets, but we have been led by hunger of growth, persevering development, a competent team and strong networks.”
