BioGTS has been selected to the finals of the Energy Sector’s Most Promising Start-up of the Year competition. The five finalists will present their products and services on the national Finnish Energy Day in Helsinki on September 10. The annual event will bring together over 100 key influential people in the energy sector.
The purpose of the competition is to discover new technical solutions, services or business models for the production, use, distribution and consumption of energy. The competition jury selected the finalists from a group of candidates in August. This is the first time when the participants of the Finnish Energy Day will select energy sector’s most promising start-up of the year.
The finalists were selected by director Jukka Leskelä from Finnish Energy, director Mari Pantsar from Sitra, professor Jarmo Partanen from Lappeenranta University of Technology, CEO Juha Vanhanen from Gaia, journalist Helena Raunio and editor Jyrki Alkio from Tekniikka & Talous magazine.
The Finnish Energy Day and Energy Sector’s Most Promising Start-up of the Year competition will be held in Royal at Crowne Plaza, Helsinki, on September 10.
